I’m Dr. Rachel La Touche (BAH, MA, PhD)—CEO and Principal Consultant at Rare Talent Consulting Inc. Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of organizational culture, mental health, and professional development, supporting institutions, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations in moments of complexity and transition. My sociological training allows me to identify patterns, understand organizational ecosystems, and design interventions that are both evidence-based and deeply attuned to how people actually experience work.

In practice, I’m known for asking the right questions, noticing what others overlook, and making connections that clarify the root causes of workplace challenges. My neurodivergence often helps me spot the subtle signals or structural misalignments that shape how organizations function. Coupled with strong analytical skills and grounded, empathetic listening, I help leaders move beyond surface-level fixes toward solutions that are thoughtful, rigorous, and sustainable.

Outside of work, I’m fuelled by travel, animals, and a low-key obsession with plants. I’ve lived in four countries, learned five languages, and never get tired of exploring—whether it’s a new culture or new ways to make workplaces better.
